The TomTom VIA aims to bridge the gap between the TomTom XL and the TomTom GO models, and offers all the functionality found on the TomTom XL plus adds bluetooth for handfree calling on your mobile phone. The TomTom VIA 120 has been around for a while now, but brand new for 2012 are the new TomTom VIA 130 models. The new TomTom VIA 130 models offer enhanced IQ Routes and intuitive voice recognition, allowing complete hands-free navigation. They also come with a rather clever dual-mount which allows windscreen or dashboard mounting. The TomTom VIA 130 EU edition comes with maps of 42 European countries, whereas the TomTom VIA 120 EU comes with maps of 22 Western European countries.
