The TomTom VIA Live models are a new edition to the TomTom range, introduced in December 2010. The TomTom VIA Live aims to bridge the gap between the TomTom XL and the TomTom GO models, and offers all the functionality found on the TomTom XL, plus adds bluetooth for handfree calling on your mobile phone.

All the TomTom VIA Live models are compatible with TomTom Live services and come with 12 months subscription included for free (optionally around �45 a year after that). The TomTom VIA 125 has an extra large 5" screen.

	Q: What's the difference between the TomTom VIA 110 and the TomTom VIA 120 Live?
	A: TomTom Live services include HD traffic, weather reports etc. The TomTom VIA Live comes with 12 months free live services, after which it costs around £47.50 a year. The non-live version of the TomTom VIA is not compatible with live services. The TomTom VIA 110 appears to be exclusive to the DSGi group within the UK at the moment (Dixons, PC World, Currys).

	Q: What's different between the TomTom XL Live and TomTom VIA Live?
	A: As well as the usual interface tweaks and slightly new look, the TomTom VIA adds to the XL Live by offering voice control and bluetooth hands-free calling via your mobile phone. Note that the VIA range have the usual capacitive touchscreen rather than the top-of-the-range resistive touchscreen found on the TomTom Go 1000 Live.
