2400 LMT Series - Advanced navigation, 4.3" XL screen, Free map updates for life

The 2400 & 2500 Garmin models are classed as the Garmin 'Advanced' range for 2012. They offer sophisticated features at an affordable price, an ideal choice for the multi-tasking parent or the professional with a longer commute. These models come with Guidance 2, a new navigation engine with a faster, more intuitive user experience that enhances the speed and accuracy of searches and routing, up to 10x faster POI search, and up to 2X faster routing.

The Garmin Nuvi 2400 series all have an XL 4.3" screen (with the exception of last years 2460LMT which has a 5" screen)
The 2500 series models offer the same features as the 2400 series but have an XXL 5" screen.
All models with LT after the model number have liftetime traffic updates.
All models with LMT after the model number come with liftetime traffic updates and lifetime map updates.

	Q: What is the difference between a Garmin Nuvi with Traffic and a Garmin Nuvi with nuLink Traffic?
	A: Much like the TomTom RDS Traffic service, the standard traffic service with Garmin uses information broadcast over the radiowaves. A more accurate service is now available using Garmin nuLink functionality (this is equivalent to the TomTom Live service).

	Q: What is Garmin nuLink?
	A: Garmin nuLink is live, location-based travel information includes instant traffic updates, fuel prices and Google™ Local search for 15 countries. 12 months of the nuLink service is included free with nuLink models, then it costs around £45 a year to keep it going. 	Q: Which Garmin Nuvi models come with traffic updates?
	A: Any model number which ends with T, (e.g. the 1210T, the 1390T) comes with RDS (radio frequency) traffic updates. More recently, this service has been called LT (Lifetime Traffic updates). The nuLink models feature a premium traffic service.
