TomTom Go 1005 Live

I have used TomToms for years (700, 900, 910, 920, 940 and now the 1005).
This one has the clearest display, the most user friendly menus and displays and by far and away the best mount. There is absolutely no vibration on its mount and it is a complete doddle to mount and dismount.
The telephone bluetooth hands free facility is dreadful; while the screen is very clear, the sound quality is simply appalling! To be fair, only one TomTom (it was either the 910, or the 920 - I can't remember now) - that had a half decent hands free facility!
The other losses from previous TomToms are that it will now lose its way sooner in a tunnel and you can no longer navigate through its files via the link from your PC.
Overall, a very good unit but, along with the huge improvements over the previous models, the are also some significant signs of cost cutting.

i have been using satnavs since they began. tomtom have improved so mch on this model the best.
