Garmin Lifetime Map Updates

Roads and points of interest are constantly changing.

Garmin numaps Lifetime map upgrades let you refresh your sat nav maps with updated points of interest, routes and address data for the lifetime of your Garmin GPS. You can choose to be notified of map updates by signing up at Garmin.com, and can update your maps whenever new content is available (which is up to 4 times a year).

Garmin don’t offer lifetime map updates as standard, but there are two ways to get lifetime mapping for your Garmin sat nav:

1) Buy a lifetime mapping card

These lifetime mapping cards are available from the retailers below.

Note that the Garmin sat nav you own must already have the maps installed in order for the upgrade to be available. E.g. You can’t apply a North America lifetime map update onto a unit which doesn’t already have North American maps on it.

2) Buy a new Garmin sat nav model with ‘LMT’ in the model title.

These LMT models come with Lifetime map updates included (effectively they are a bundle of the standard ‘LT’ model plus the lifetime mapping card above).
